I think most people struggle to make a relationship with God is because they're scared - "If I don't follow a certain ritual, then God will punish me."

Worship times and prayers were meant to make people stay grounded and stay connected with God. But, we've misunderstood the rules of religion. We followed physical rituals but mental rituals got ignored.

Having a relationship with God means to remember. him while doing any activity. That's the definition of Karmayog for me - Stay connected with the supreme(Yog) while doing actions(Karma).

We don't sit for one hour and say I remember my parents, friends or loved ones - it's a natural remembrance. Likewise, we need to develop that intimate relationship with God that his remembrance becomes natural.

It can only become by understanding who he is, what he wants from us, who am I and what I have to do for him.
