Thanks a lot for reading the story and sharing your wonderful thoughts.
I agree with you 100%. The reason I wrote this story about social media is to bring awareness about the cause of our mental downfall. I totally understand that giving up on this habit is difficult, but somewhere we need to start.
Also, I have seen people traumatized by the addiction of this glittery media to such an extent that they have ended their lives. It is so enticing and alluring that one can’t easily get out of it even though one wants to.
Having said that, it is extremely inevitable to keep a check on our screen usage because it can split our lives into so tiny bits and pieces that we can’t even fathom to join them. From my personal experience, I can say that families are drifting apart just because of this invisible enemy.
By the way, I would like to applaud your courage in admitting to having been a victim of it. I am sure you will be able to conquer this because you have identified this demon.
My greatest reward for writing such stories is when the reader has been positively impacted. Reading your response, I think I have earned it. Thanks once again for sharing your positive inputs. It really made me proud!
