There is a common misconception among people that mindful techniques or spirituality reduces the thoughts to zero. But the fact is, we can’t make it to zero.
However through concentration and awareness, we can reduce it to 3–4 thoughts per minute. And that state of mind is very powerful one. I have read in ancient scriptures that Saints through the power of purity and concentration a and using Rajyoga were able attain that powerful state. Through this could attained some Siddhis of controlling things or reading others’ thoughts.
Reading your story, I can understand how deep spiritual knowledge you possess. Most of us doesn’t even know the difference between mind and brain.
