This is one of the worst tactics on social media. I see plenty of people doing this "read for read" thingy. I have been a victim of it.

When I share my post on social media (mostly GB groups), I don't expect everyone to read it. But if someone's reading my work only with a motif of forcing me read theirs, it makes me question their credibility. A lot of writers has forced me to read theirs and I didn't like it. I mean I want to read your story because it interests me not because I have to return the favour.

Lessons learned! I stopped sharing my posts on FB groups for time being just to stay away from negative/fake readers.
